THE DETAILS Operating income reversed last year’s loss, standing at KRW11.7 billion and net profit in the three months to June totalled KRW29.4 billion, a considerable improvement on the prior year’s KRW26 billion loss.
THE WHY? AmorePacific revealed that an increase in overseas sales, particularly in North America and Europe, the Middle East and Africa where sales jumped in the three figures, helped it swing back into the black, compensating lack-luster domestic sales.
