THE WHAT? SK Chemicals has announced that it has signed a letter of intent with The Estee Lauder Companies to supply circular recycling solutions.

THE DETAILS Under the agreement, SK Chemicals will supply its Ecotria CR, Skypet CR and Ecozen Claro materials to Lauder, who will develop sustainable packaging solutions from them.

The agreement enables the potential acceleration of the packaging sustainability movement using advanced recycling to chemically decompose waste plastic into monomers, helping to solve the ‘plastic problem’ in an innovative – and circular – way.
