THE WHAT? Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new men’s fragrance trio The eau de parfums Land, Sea and Air form a fragrance trilogy, inspired by the car manufacturer’s logo – a three-pointed star.
THE DETAILS Created by master perfumer, Anne Flipo, the trio unites around a common base and can be worn separately or layered, creating seven different combinations in total.
The bottles have been designed to fit together to form a circle and the Land scent is also available as a solid shower gel. The three fragrances can be purchased together in a ‘nomadic format’ – a leather pouch containing all three scents.
THE WHY? The growing popularity of the fragrance category clearly hasn’t escaped Mercedes Benz’ notice and the launch chimes with the trend towards greater customisation.
